Artist Biography

Alison Antelman showcases her work from her studio, at galleries, and craft shows across the nation. She has participated in exhibitions from Los Angeles to Massachusetts, including Mobilia, Facere, and the Palos Verdes Art Center along with international traveling exhibitions at the V & A in London.

Alison is a a MAGgrant recipient and recieved a $2,000 Skills and Development award in 2024, the Benchmark Award at Art in the High Desert in 2023, Best of Jewelry at the Brookside Art Annual in 2021, and Honorable Mention at the Lakefront Festival of Art at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Her accolades also include the 2018 CraftBoston Holiday Award of Distinction in Jewelry, a 2015 Niche Award, First Place in the 2014 Charles Lewton Brain Fold-Forming Competition, and Best of Jewelry at the Sun Valley Center Arts & Crafts Festival in both 2017 and 2015.

Her work is featured in numerous publications, including Taste Magazine New Mexico, New Bracelets by Promopress, JCK Magazine, MJSA Journal, Art Jewelry Today 4 and Art Jewelry Today 3 by Schiffer Publishing, Showcase 500 Art Necklaces and 500 Gemstone Jewels by Lark Books, Lapidary Journal’s Jewelry Artist magazine, and The San Francisco Chronicle.

Alison has contributed articles to Lapidary Journal, Jewelry Artist, and Metalsmith magazines, given lectures, mentors and teaches workshops through art centers and schools nationwide.

Since relocating to Santa Fe, New Mexico, she is mesmerized by the spectacular colors, textures, and forms in the landscape and enjoys creating one-of-a-kind jewelry in her well-lit studio.
